2023: Igbo Presidency ‘It’s in God’s grasp’s – Umahi talks on Southeast possibilities

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State has indicated on the odds of the Southeast producing Nigeria’s next president in 2023.

Umahi, the director of the Southeast Governors’ Forum, said the odds of the Southeast creating Nigeria’s leader in 2023 lies in the possession of God.

The Governor talked on Channels Television on Monday night while reacting to an inquiry on the odds of the Southeast producing the following president.

Asked if Igbos would be permitted to pick the official ticket, Umahi: “It’s in the possession of God.

“He is. He coordinates our undertakings. He offers breath to each man, so power has a place with God. Whatever thing we wish will come through just through God. In the event that God says indeed, nobody can say no.”

Umahi’s remark is coming at a time Northern youths had proclaimed that force would stay in their area in 2023.

National President of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, Shettima Yerima, had said the North actually had four years at the finish of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second residency in 2023.
