The Deputy Minority Leader House of Reps, and member representing Aninri, Awgu and Oji-River federal constituency on the 20th of November converged with other lawmaker at to Obeagu Oduma of Aninri in Enugu state to commiserate with Prince Chidi Ekwe as he buried his wife in their home town
Ekwe who is a former commissioner for public complaints commission lost his wife Princess Charity Chinyere Ekwe (Oshirioha) on the 22nd of September four days after delivering her baby pre-term at the young age of 37.
Condoling the family in a tribute, Okechukwu described her death as a painful one, stating that “death is a painful experience and even more devastating when a dear one is involved. The death of your wife will understandably leave you and your family with a deep feeling of loss but be consoled in the fact that she live a worthy life and now rests with God.
“As we mourn her demise, I pray that God grants you and your family the fortitude to bear the loss.
“On behalf of my family and constituents, please accept my condolences”, Okechukwu said.
