                                                          CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
I received with shock, the news of the untimely demise of your beloved younger brother, Hon. Mathias Ekweremadu which sad event occurred on 4th February, 2021

Late Mathias indeed lived an impactful life having risen steadily from chairman of a local government, to chief whip of Enugu State house of Assembly and lastly, Commissioner of transport. He indeed served God and country with solemn dedication and forthrightness.

It is indeed unfortunate that he passed on at a time when his capabilities were yet to be fully harnessed for the good of his family and development of the people of Enugu State .

While the loss of Mathias is devastating, I urge you and the entire family to take solace in the maxim, which says; and in the end, it is not the years in your life that counts, it is the life in your years.

May God grant you and the young family he left behind, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and equally grant his soul, eternal rest.
Sen. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D., CON
