Nnamdi Kanu: Biafrans urged to observe IPOB sit at home order every Monday

Biafrans all over the world have been called upon to heed the sit at home order declared by IPOB every Monday starting from Monday, August 9, 2021 until Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader is released from detention.

An adent supporter for the liberation and emancipation of Biafra from Nigeria, Mazi ChiKenze said in a statement that the march to freedom was not an easy task but encouraged all lovers of Biafra and Biafrans to observe the sit at home order to drive home the import of the order.

ChiKenze, in a statement made available to the media, posited that other nations fought for their freedom like America and China, noting that Biafra will not be an exception.

He pointed out that having fought a civil war for self rule, what is needed now to actualise Biafra is through a referendum and urged all and sundry to support the movement for the actualisation of Biafra.

The statement reads thus: Fellow Biafrans, our march to freedom, as in every liberation efforts, is not easy.  Heavy, painful prices and sacrifices are made before freedom is achieved.

“America fought civil war, North and South America, before slaves were freed.  America fought against Britain before she hot her independence.  China fought civil war before she overthrew her wicked government.

” Biafrans, Igbos in particular, are in no better condition in Nigeria than what made the two world powers, America and China, to fight wars for freedom and to better their lives.”

The statement continues: “But having fought a civil war before, IPOB is asking for referendum, a voting to decide whether we want Nigeria or Biafra, but Nigeria says no, that we must remain slaves or die.  Therefore, we must be willing and ready to make sacrifices and pay prices that will give us freedom. So, if you are to close your shop or to stop work for one or two days to agitate for your freedom and better treatment from the government, go ahead and do it willingly,” the statement admonishes.

“Civil disobedience is a nin-violent protest aimed at enforcing government or your oppressor or to suffer pain and listen to your complaints.  It is not against any law.  Nigeria is illegally holding our leader, Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB global leader.  He is being tortured regularly as Nigerian government refuses him medical attention over his worsening health condition.

” One sit at home across Biafraland will make Nigeria lose billions of Naira a day.  Repeating it will destroy Nigeria economy completely.  Then they will be forced to release our leader,” the statement opines.
