REPS DEPUTY MINORITY LEADER MOTIONS FOR THE REOPENING OF THE INTERNATIONAL WINGS OF ENUGU AIRPORT, OTHERS

The Deputy Minority leader, house of representatives, Rt. Hon. Toby Okechukwu has motioned the reopening of the international wings of the Aminu Kano international airport Kano, Akanu Ibiam international airport Enugu and the Port Harcourt international airport Omagwa. UGAMATV REPORTS.

The house of representatives member who represents Awgu, Aninri and Oji river federal constituency, during a plenary session, enjoined the presidential COVID-19 task force, the house committee on aviation as well as the minister for Aviation to take the necessary actions towards the prompt reopening of international wings of the afore mentioned Airports.

This, he said will benefit the Federation in several ways especially Economically.

Okechukwu motioned thus, ” I agree in the spirit and letter with the propositions, regarding the three international airports; the Aminu Kano international airport, the Akanu Ibiam international airport and Port harcourt international airport.”

“The house urges the presidential task force on covid-19 to instruct for the immediate reopening of the international wings of the Mallam Aminu Kano international airport, Kano, the Akanu Ibiam international airport, Enugu and Port harcourt international airport, Omagwa.”

“The house mandates the committee on aviation to interface with the minister of Aviation, to without further delay to take measures to reopen the international wings of the Mallam Aminu Kano international airport, Kano, the Akanu Ibiam international airport, Enugu and Port harcourt international airport, Omagwa.”
